

Who We Are
The Office for Community & Social Research (OCSR) advances the research, teaching and service mission of the College of Education and Public Service (CEPS) through the development, management and support of faculty-community grants, contracts, and services. OCSR and College staff, the College leadership team, and faculty fellows meet regularly to vet opportunities and proposals and engage broader university and community partners. OCSR staff provide expertise in several areas key to the effective management and execution of funded research projects, including:

1. Consultation: Identification and vetting of funding opportunities
2. Grant Management: Planning, proposal writing, budget, support services
3. Research design
4. Statistical data analysis
5. Geographical Information System (GIS) services and custom mapping
6. Handling large data sets for targeted project applications
7. Access to data and assistance in choosing appropriate data
Our Location
Our offices and the Stupp Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Laboratory are located in Litteken Hall at 3322 Olive St. on the Eastern end of the Saint Louis University Campus.
